At Mesa de Juegos we're committed to protecting our users' privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, who we may share it with, and what choices are available to you. By using the App, you accept the practices described in this Policy.
Account data. If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or email, we receive and store the information needed to identify and manage your account: your name or username, your email address, and the identifier tied to the sign-in method you chose. We don't ask for more personal information than the service requires.
Data related to using the App. Using the App generates data such as the boards you create or publish, the games you play, your stats and results, your avatars and customization items, your preferences and settings, your downloads or interactions with Community content, and your chips, hearts, and other virtual items. This data is stored on the App's servers, tied to your account, and syncs automatically whenever there's a connection; boards you create offline stay only on your device until there's a connection to sync them.
Technical data. Our servers process certain technical data needed for the App's operation, security, and abuse prevention, such as your IP address and basic request data (for example, to limit the number of sign-in attempts). We don't currently use third-party analytics or tracking services; if one is added in the future, this Policy will be updated to reflect it.
How we use your data. We use the information we collect to create and manage your account, let you sign in, show your name or username on the boards you publish and the games you play, keep your stats, progress, and settings tied to your account, manage boards, Community content, and the rewards system, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or manipulation of games, keep the App secure, fix bugs and improve the service, and comply with legal obligations when required. We won't use your data for purposes incompatible with those described in this Policy without telling you and, where necessary, asking for your consent.
Community content. Boards you publish are visible to other App users, along with your username and download count. Because of this, we recommend not including personal, private, or sensitive information in the content you publish.
Chips, hearts, and virtual items. The information needed to manage your chips, hearts, and customization items (avatars, frames, backgrounds) is tied to your account. These items are virtual and aesthetic: they are not real money and don't represent an investment.
In-app purchases. When the App offers real-money purchases, payment is processed through Google Play or the App Store, depending on your device. We don't store full credit or debit card data; we only receive the purchase information needed to credit the product you bought.
Who we share your data with. We don't sell or rent your personal data. We only share it when necessary to provide, maintain, protect, or improve the App, or when there's a legal obligation to do so: with infrastructure and hosting providers that host our servers and database, with Google and/or Facebook when you choose those sign-in methods, with our email provider (Gmail/SMTP) to send you your password-reset code, with Google Play or the App Store to process purchases, and with public authorities when there's a legal obligation to provide certain information. These providers must use your data according to their own terms and applicable legal obligations.
Third-party services. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any integrated services you choose to use, such as Google and Facebook.
Security. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no system for storing or transmitting information over the Internet can guarantee absolute security.
Data retention. We keep your personal data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, maintain your account, and provide the service, or for as long as needed to comply with legal obligations. Once no longer needed, it's deleted or anonymized, unless there's a legitimate obligation to keep it longer.
Account deletion. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account. This action is permanent and irreversible: your account, your own boards (including any you published in the Community), your chips and hearts, the customization items you obtained, your game stats, and your coupon-redemption history are all permanently erased. Some data may be kept for as long as strictly necessary when there's a legal obligation, a legitimate security need, fraud prevention, or pending claims to resolve.
Your rights. Depending on applicable law, you may request information about your personal data, access it, request correction of inaccurate or outdated information, request its deletion, ask for certain limits on processing, and exercise any other rights the law grants you. To make a request about your data, write to us at mesadejuegosapp@gmail.com; we may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before processing it.
Minors. The App is not directed at anyone below the minimum age set by the law applicable in your country and by the relevant distribution platforms. Where the law allows use by minors under certain conditions, it must be authorized by a parent or legal guardian. If we discover we've collected a minor's information in a way that violates applicable law, we'll take the necessary steps to delete it.
Privacy of public content. Keep in mind that information you choose to publish in the Community may be visible to other users. We recommend not publishing full names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, or other unnecessary personal information in your public content.
Changes to this policy. We may modify this Policy when necessary due to changes in the App, new features, legal changes, or changes in how we handle data. Significant changes will be announced inside the App. The "Last updated" date shows when it was last modified.
Governing law. This Policy is interpreted according to the law applicable to data protection and privacy. In Argentina, the processing of personal data is subject, among other applicable rules, to Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326. If you access the App from the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have the rights granted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); if you access it from California, USA, you have the rights granted by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Contact. For questions, requests, or anything related to this Policy or how we handle your data, write to us at mesadejuegosapp@gmail.com.
App owner. Tomás Amoretti.
