Acceptance. By registering, accessing, or using Mesa de Juegos (the "App"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree with any of them, you shouldn't use the App.
The service. Mesa de Juegos is a digital scorekeeper for board and card games — including, among others, Truco and Generala, plus any others we add — with community features (publishing and downloading boards created by other users) and customization features (avatars, frames, and backgrounds).
Free access. You can register, sign in, create and play games, and use all of the App's essential features at no cost. You never need to make a purchase to play; the customization items described below are always optional.
Your account. You're responsible for the information you provide when creating your account, for keeping it up to date, and for the activity carried out from it. If you notice unauthorized use, let us know at mesadejuegosapp@gmail.com. We may suspend or cancel accounts when there are reasonable grounds to believe these Terms, the games' rules, or applicable law have been violated.
Game rules. Each board may have its own rules, shown inside the App (for example, in each game's "value table"). Users must follow them and act lawfully during games; we may implement mechanisms to prevent fraudulent or abusive behavior.
Chips and hearts (social currencies). The App uses two virtual currencies with no real monetary value, non-transferable and non-refundable, valid only within the App: "chips," obtained by purchasing them with real money (processed through Google Play or the App Store) or by redeeming a coupon, and "hearts," obtained when another user downloads a board you published in the Community (or also by redeeming a coupon). Both can be used to acquire the customization items described below.
Items and customization. With chips or hearts you can get optional visual items — avatars, board frames, and backgrounds, among others we may add — whose only purpose is aesthetic. Acquiring them grants no competitive advantage, doesn't change the games' rules, doesn't increase your odds of winning, and doesn't affect the outcome of games: any user can play without ever buying them.
In-app purchases. Chip purchases with real money are optional, never required to play, and are processed through Google Play or the App Store, subject to their policies. Before confirming a purchase you'll be able to see its price and content.
Coupons, rewards, and promotions. The App may offer coupons redeemable for chips and/or hearts. Right now all rewards are virtual (chips, hearts, and customization items): there are no cash or physical prizes, and redeeming a coupon doesn't require or use any data beyond your account's. If real-prize promotions are offered in the future, specific terms will be disclosed and, if any additional data is needed to deliver a prize, it will be requested and used only for that purpose.
No pay-to-win. No real-money payment grants a competitive advantage: aesthetic items don't change a user's abilities or the rules of a game, which depend solely on that game's own mechanics.
User conduct. When using the App you may not: use it for illegal purposes; manipulate or attempt to manipulate how games work; use bots, scripts, or other means to gain unfair advantages; try to access other users' accounts or information without authorization; interfere with the App's normal operation; carry out fraudulent activity; or create accounts or abuse features to exploit the rewards system. We may suspend or cancel accounts for these violations.
Content you publish. When you publish a board to the Community, you keep ownership of it, but you grant us permission to display it inside the App to other users along with your username and download count. You confirm you hold the necessary rights over what you publish and that it doesn't infringe third-party rights or applicable law; we may remove content that violates these Terms or is unlawful, abusive, or offensive.
Intellectual property. The App's design, name, logos, graphics, interfaces, code, text, and images (that is, everything except user-published content) belong to Tomás Amoretti. Using the App does not transfer any ownership rights to the user; reproducing, modifying, or exploiting them without authorization is prohibited.
Service availability. We try to keep the App available and running correctly, but interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, technical or third-party provider failures, connectivity issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features when necessary.
Changes. We may modify these Terms when necessary due to changes in the service, new features, or legal requirements; significant changes will be announced inside the App. Continuing to use the App after a modification means you accept the new Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Where your information lives. Your account, your boards (your own and those published in the Community), your chips and hearts, and your game stats are stored on the App's servers (hosted on cloud infrastructure), tied to your account, and synced automatically whenever there's a connection. Boards you create offline stay only on your device until there's a connection to sync them. Besides you, we use: Google and/or Facebook to sign in (if you choose those options), and an email provider (Gmail/SMTP) to send you your password-reset code. Account deletion. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account. This action is permanent and irreversible: your account, your own boards (including any you published in the Community), your chips and hearts, the customization items you obtained, your game stats, and your coupon-redemption history are all permanently erased. This information cannot be recovered once deleted.
Minors. Use of the App is subject to the age requirements of the law applicable in your country and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. Where applicable, minors must use it with the authorization and supervision of a responsible adult.
Liability. The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and will be liable as required by applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, limit, or modify rights that the law grants consumers and that cannot be waived by agreement.
Governing law and jurisdiction. For users located in Argentina, these Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, including (as applicable) Consumer Protection Law No. 24,240, Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326, and the Civil and Commercial Code regarding contracts entered into by electronic means; any dispute is submitted to the competent courts of the user's domicile. For users outside Argentina, the consumer protection and data protection laws of their country of residence also apply, to the extent they are mandatory and cannot be waived by agreement. If you access the App from the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have the rights granted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including access, rectification, portability, and erasure of your data. If you access it from California, USA, you have the rights granted by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). It's your responsibility to verify that using the App is lawful under the laws of your place of residence, including minimum age requirements for digital consent, which vary by country.
Google Play, the App Store, and other stores. Distribution of the App and processing of in-app purchases are subject, in addition to these Terms, to the Terms of Service and policies of the relevant app store (Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or other). In case of conflict between these Terms and the store's policies on purchases, billing, or refunds, the store's policies prevail.

Final acceptance. By registering, accessing, or using Mesa de Juegos, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, and you agree to be bound by them. We may update them as needed for the service and applicable law.
